The aircraft sustained damage from AA fire over the target of Wilehlmshaven, Germany and was then shot down by fighters. The aircraft crashed into the Jadebusen (Jade Bight) east of Wilhelmshaven, Germany. crashed into North Sea 26 February 1943.
