Prisoner of War (POW) crashed near Elsenborn on 14 Feb 45 in B-17 #4339147







Plane # 43-39147-0, known as the 'Miss Conduct,' was shot down returning from the raid on Dresden, February 14, 1945. Parachuted down near AAchen; held at Flemershine 2 weeks, transferred to hostpial near Cologne for 3 months; then sent to Stalag VI G near Bonn until freed 4/12/45. We have more complete stories and information that I will copy and send at a later date.
