Assigned to 742BS, 458BG, 8AF USAAF. Tucker was declared Missing in Action on 24-Sep-44, while taking part in a fuel delivery mission to Saint Dizier. Tucker's aircraft B-24 42-52348 "Lady Shamrock" was fired on by enemy flak and exploded over the Netherlands. Dutch Coast guard recovered the wreckage.
