Jimmie Ray Heathman

According to US war crimes case 12-2000, charge 9, Heathman was a murder victim. He was killed while prisoner of war by SS Pvt Heinrich Matthias Michely, upon orders of a superior. Michely, an instructor in the Wehrwolf school at Wallrabenstein, was sentenced to death but reprieved. His sentence was repeatedly shortened until he was paroled on 3 August 1954.
