Kirken is here 3rd fom left and Logan 4th at extreme right. ]
Added group photo
While assigned temporarily to fly out of North Africa, on February 25, 1943, B24 41-23740 'Red Ass' was forced to land in Spanish Morocco. The crew was interned. Chapter 10 of Ted's Travelling Circus chronicles their adventures in this incident. Holliday was freed June 2, 1943.
