Prisoner of War (POW). 2-Sep-43 in B-26B 41-31629 'Janet's Dream' was on a mission to Lille/ Nord AF when the aircraft was hit by flak and exploded near French coast and crashed at Bergues, France. Hamilton and TG George Hodgson were blown clear to become Prisoner of War (POW)s. MACR 516.
