James Denton Brokaw
Military ROLL OF HONOURAssigned to 343FS, 55FG, 8AF USAAF. Failed to Return (FTR) strafing mission to airfields in Central France in P-51D 44-13665. Reported a cooling leak when flying at 20,00ft, later reporting engine was on fire and that he was baling out. Crashed approx 1900hrs near a farm called Ferme Grange-Coeuret near Brumetz, 11 miles west-north west of Chateau-Thierry, France. Killed in Action (KIA). 30-Jul-44. MACR 7577.
