Gross Tychow/Tychowo, Poland 12 May 1944 Interned at Stalag Luft 4 in Gross Tychow/Tychowo, Poland. Moved by train on 2 February 1945 to Stalag XIID at Nuremberg, the last part on a forced march to that camp. NARA WWII POW records have him in Stalag Luft 3 in Sagan, Poland, from where he was force-marched to Stalag 7a in Moosburg, liberated on 29 April 1945 by US troops. NARA WWII POW records: "Returned to Military control 11 March 1946..."
