How to Contribute
The American Air Museums’ mission becomes more urgent with each passing day, as the number of surviving members of the Greatest Generation dwindles and the public’s memory of their service and sacrifice fades. Preserving their noble legacy requires significant resources, and we couldn’t do it without the support of individuals like you who understand and appreciate the extraordinary contributions of America’s Armed Forces.
There are two ways to contribute to the American Air Museum, which are listed below. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and allows us to serve thousands of visitors every year onsite at the museum as well as millions more through our online archive.
CONTRIBUTE to the digital memorial of the Greatest Generation by adding information to our online archives.
The American Air Museum website records the stories of the men and women of the US Army Air Forces (USAAF) who served their country from the United Kingdom during World War II. Upload your own photographs, stories, and memories to our online archives. Click here to view more information on how to contribute.
Your contribution not only helps drive the work we do at the AAM, but it also connects millions of people from around the world to the stories of the courageous American airmen and the planes they flew to defend liberty and preserve our freedom.
CONTRIBUTE to the ongoing work to maintain and preserve the mission of the Museum.
Click here to make your tax‐deductible gift. Your generous gift will help support the American Air Museum’s work to:
- Educate future generations about US airmen and their heroism. Your support will help us expand our education programs to ensure those who have little knowledge of World War II and the Cold War - especially the more than 100,000 children who visit us each year - remember those who fought and died for their freedom.
- Provide visitors with a memorable Museum experience. Your support will help the Museum maintain our building, conserve our collection of rare historical aircraft and other artifacts, and inspire and educate the 400,000 visitors who come through our doors each year.
- Bring the stories of America’s airmen to those unable to visit the Museum. Your support will help millions of people to virtually visit the Museum through the online archives - to browse our extensive photo collection, upload their own images, learn about US airmen and women and the aircraft the built and flew, and much more.
