Description

36 B-26s from 323BG are despatched to bomb the German airfield at Caen/Carpiquet, France. All 36 aircraft manahe to strike the target. One aircraft overshot the runway at Shoreham, UK upon return and was Damaged Beyond Repair (DBR) and salvaged. The crew were all OK.
