36 B-26s from 322BG are despatched to bomb the German airfield at Lille/Vendeville, France, but the target is obscured by clouds and the German airfield at Ypres/Vlamertingue, Belgium is bombed as a target of opportunity by 22 aircraft. There are no losses or claims but 23 aircraft are damaged by anti-aircraft fire.
