The P-47 (Thunderbolt), a single engined high altitude fast fighter in quantity production for the U.S.A.A.F. is now in service with American Fighter squadrons in England. One of the newer type of U.S. Fighter Aircraft it is equipped with a 2,000 h.p. engine and a four-bladed automatic control propeller. It can fly at over 400 m.p.h. New York Times Photo Shows:- Lt.
