Bill R. Story's logbook page for June, 1944. He flew as an engineer/gunner with the Edwin L. Marks crew for his whole tour from April to August 1944. His mission certificate actually lists two trips to Coutances, France on D Day although this logbook page only lists one landing on that date. The aircraft we've been able to associate with the crew include "Able Mabel," "Willie's Worry" and "Naughty Nan." The crew was listed as a deputy lead crew in the book about the 93rd Bomb Group, "Ted's Traveling Circus."
