FRE 4140
IMAGESergeant James E. Wylde of the 303rd Bomb Group. Printed caption on reverse: '"Was that the tea bell?" There seems to be some hurry on. Sgt. James E. Wylde, Greenup, Illinois, jumps to it from a lorry at an American Air Force station somewhere in England. Educated at the University of Illinois, James was in insurance before the war, but is quite enjoying the change to air corps life. Mr. and Mrs. Fred White, his parents, will be glad to hear that his verdict on wartime Britain is: "Everything fine over here. Great show this England."' On reverse: Current Affairs Ltd, US Army Press Censor ETO and US Army General Section Press & Censorship Bureau [Stamps].
