The nose art of a B-17 Flying Fortress nicknamed "Silver Dollar (In God We Trust)" of the 100th Bomb Group. This is the original artwork applied to 42-32090 SILVER DOLLAR. at this point the plane carried the ID: 418 LD R . She would keep this paint scheme and code till April 45. After taxi accident April 18, 1945, the code was changed to 418 LD E (E --- Silver Dollar. This plane later became Col Thomas Jeffrey's "hack" for trips to Continent .
