Family photograph of my uncle, Max H Schiwetz, given to me by my mother (his sister) to memorialize his service as a member of the 9th AAF, 98th BG, 415 BSq, and his presumed death while flying as navigator of the B-24 Yen Tu during the Operation Title Wave bombing raid over the refineries of Ploesti, Romania on August 1, 1943.
