Party Honors Lieut. Elmer Nardi Mrs. Francis Passalacqua entertained Tuesday evening at a party in honor of her brother Lieutenant Elmer Nardi, who was home on a short furlough. Open house was held for a large group of friends. Mrs. Passalacqua was assisted by her sisters Mrs. Rene Revel and Miss Georgina Nardi, the latter of San Francisco. Lieutenant Nardi received his silver bars at Casper, Wyo., and will go to Salina, Kans., when he leaves Healdsburg. He is a pilot in the army air corps. The Healdsburg Garden Club will hold its regular monthly meeting at the Legion Hall Monday, April 19, at 2 o’clock. Mrs. J. A. McMinn, past president, will preside, and Mrs. L. P. Enzenauer will talk about “Our favorite shrubs and flowers, and what they mean to us.” At roll call members will be asked about their garden favorite.
