Martin L Irwin of the 100th Bomb Group in the cockpit of a B-17 Flying Fortress
This was taken by Gerard Kircher, who was the radio operator of the aircraft. I received the copy by Gerard's grandson. I was told that Gerard carried the photo in his wallet until he passed away in Nov. 1999. The reverse side reads "Co Pilot Martin L. Irwin, One of the best guys I know".
