Lt. Lawrence A. Bearden, of Greensboro, NC, was KNO on 10 August 1944 during a training flight, having joined the 369th Fighter Squadron, 359th Fighter Group, on 2 August 1944. Lt. Bearden was buried in the Cambridge American Cemetery.
