Capt. Vincent W. Ambrose with P-51D CS-R 44-13633 "Baltimore Babe." Capt. Vincent W. Ambrose, of Baltimore, MD, served with the 370th Fighter Squadron, 359th Fighter Group, from March 1943 through 4 September 1944 when he completed his combat tour of duty. He damaged one E/A during aerial combat and also destroyed one on the ground.
