George S Abood of Bridgeville ,Pennsylvania. He flew on the "Yankee Rebel" B24 Liberator. Last mission was on 7/25/1944 and he was shot down over St. Lo/Marginey, France. George was declared MIA and then was a POW. He sent to Stalag VI and Stalag Luft IV. George survived being in a prison camps and the Black Death March across Germany.
