Henry Hughey was a B-17 ball turret gunner and the B-17 pictured here was Henry's aircraft, and he was more then likely in that ball turret when this photograph was taken during WW-2 . Henry is 92 years young this year, and now the last surviving crew member of their crew. Henry flew 32 missions for the 487BG, 838SQ. He survived a crash landing in Warsaw, Poland, and his aircraft also flew in the #3 slot behind General Castle's B-17 on the on December 24, 1944 providing support for the Battle of the Bulge.
