"A view of the interior of the Hispano-Suiza plant at Bois Colombe in the Paris area which under Nazi domination was a key repair center for Goering's Luftwaffe. The destruction shown was caused by the bombs of the 8th Air Force "Flying Fortresses" during the attack on September 15, 1943 and thirteen months later is still un-repaired. Following this assault production of new engines according to officials at the factory, came to a complete stop and after the bombing on the 31st of December the rate of repair work was cut from approximately 150 finished engines per month to less than 3 a day."
