January 25, 1944 - Pilot: William C. Hunter - Duisburg, Germany - Plane: Knock-Out-Baby -- Kept mission notes on bomb tags: Duisburg Jan. 28, 1945 My first trip to "Happy Valley" 300 guns on our course over Germany. Carried six 1000 lb G.P.s for a bridge. Flak was rough, Ludwig must have been on the guns. Picked up a lot of holes. No. 1 engine shot up badly couldn't feather it. Limped home by ourselves. A pretty rough day, To hell with "Happy Valley"
