"Col Donald W Graham P-51 mustang group commander from Oakland, CA catches up on his mail after returning from a weeks shuttle trip to Russia, Italy and back to an 8th AF fighter station in England. Although the bombers were attacked on each of the five different missions making up the trip, the escorting Mustangs warded off the enemy aircraft, shot down five of them and not a bomber was lost through enemy action."
