The crew of the "Swing Shift Baby" sometime between March 1944 and August 1944, as I recognize the co-pilot 2LT Joe Amrheim in the back row, far left, and my Dad, Wade S. Beyeler, is not in the photo since he arrived in Deopham Green in early August 1944... Alfred McGowan was the ball turret gunner... What a cramped and dangerous position to man... RIP SSG McGowan... RIP to all of the crew who have passed...
