Capt Oscar D O'Neill, Jr., of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, receives an Oak Leaf Cluster from Col Stanley T Wray, of Birmingham, Ala. Capt. O'Neill has participated in 20 raids over enemy territory. The cluster was awarded for his skill in bringing a crippled flying fortress back to its home base after it had been attacked in a raid on Lorient.
