Crew # 13, 708th Sqdn, 447th Bomb Group. Rattlesden, UK 1944.

Ed Wright was the captain of the bombing mission on which he was killed, May 12, 1944. My uncle, SSgt William James McQuoid, Jr. was the tail gunner on that mission. Some of the crew must have been replaced because they were on leave. Unsure. This is the data concerning the B-17 on which Ed Wright was captain when he was killed:
