Memorial plaque honoring Wilson W. Montague, made by the son of a witness to the plane crash when Wilson was shot down. He and Wilson's youngest brother Bobby Montague placed the plaque with an American flag at the site in Reicholzheim, Germany on Memorial Day, 2016. Tribute states where Wilson was stationed, that he was killed March 1,1945, and that he was temporarily buried at a local cemetery and now rests in New Hope Baptist Church cemetery in Raleigh, NC.
