UPL 24091
IMAGECaptain Don Gentile and Lieutenant Spiros "Steve" Pisanos lean on the nose of a 4th Fighter Group P-47. Both were from different squadrons (334th and 336th) but were roommates and close friends, which they continued to be after the war. The plane behind them (coded VF-O, serial #41-6183) belonged to 336th squadron and was used by Lieutenant Mike Sobanski and later Captain Louis Norley.
