A staged photograph of (then) Pilot Officer Don Blakeslee (American) strapping Flight Lieutenant Eugene "Jeep" Neal (Canadian) into his Spitfire cockpit. Since Blakeslee was American he went on to transfer to the USAAF and become CO of the 4th Fighter Group while Neal stayed with the RCAF.
