1st Lt. Richard E. Brown - Crashlanded near the village of Heukelum in the Netherlands on 20 April 1945 after being hit by rifle fire whilst flying at low altitude. He was taken prisoner and transported to the Dutch Island of Terschelling where he and other POW's stayed in a Hotel till the end of the war only a few days later.
