IMAGEB-24H-15-CF #41-29391 "Little Lulu" Code: 6L-M 466th BG - 787th BS "Little Lulu" was shot down by German fighters on 13 May 1944 with the Russell T. Swain Crew (Crew #712). Only Swain and the co-pilot, John F. Hardy, survived. They only survived because they were blown clear of the wreckage when the aircraft exploded.
