There is no visible evidence that this aircraft is 42-50386 and that a correspondent (M. Jean-Marc Lejeune of Lagny-le-Sec) does not recognise this as the topology of the area.
According to http://www.harringtonmuseum.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/Carpetbagg... 42-50386 "Crashed 5.7.44 at Lagny - le-Sec (Oise) in France after being shot down by a ME 110 approx 35 miles south of Paris on Operation Peter".
