Q for Queenie was a B-24 JSH-5 FO, 42-51015 originally assigned to the 700th Bomb Squadron as IS-A+, then transferred to the 701st Bomb Squadron as MK-J+, She flew a total of 34 missions and returned to the ZI on 20 May 45. In late Feb/early Mar 45, all of the radar equipped aircraft of each squadron of the 445th were transferred to the 701st Bomb Squadron. This was probably done to consolidate radar maintenance personnel in one squadron rather that spread out among 4.
