23 March 1945 - There was a major meeting of 8th Air Force fighter group CO's at Debden. They came in their colourful aircraft to make final plans to cover the Rhine river crossing, Operation VARSITY, which would take place the following day. Mustangs are from L-R: The 55th, 355th, 361st, 339th and 364th Fighter Groups.
