Personal diary of Technical Sergeant Conrad J Kersch of the 19th Bomb Group, from 1942. The diary covers his journey from the USA to Java, his first missions and shooting down two Mitsibushi Zeros, his service in Australia and return to the USA.

Kersch later joined the 303rd Bomb Group in the European Theatre.
