Fighter personnel, including Hubert Zemke of the 479th Fighter Group, and former commanding officer of the 56th Fighter Group pretend to fight Bomber personnel at the Prisoner of War assembly camp at Dulag Luft. Zemke has handwritten on the reverse: 'This picture was at Dulag Luft (Watzlar)- an assembling camp where POW were temporarily house to await RR Freight cars before moving off to permanent POW camps in the East. The picture was taken by one of Col Stark staff. It depicts a mock fight between Bomber crew members and fighter, The scene being in the small mess hall where two meals a day were served. Left to right- Major AC Jones, Lt CG Fulle- H Zemke & Col Charles W Stark, the Senior Allied Officer. Note the POW had painted up the walls. Zemke wears the navy blue sweater that eventually darned socks in Stalag Luft 1. 21 Nov 1944.'
