Zemke has handwritten on the reverse: ' Picture # 3 Though I was never able to confirm his crash before being heavily engaged by other Me109s, a parachute was seen and from the intensity of the explosion on the Me109 a confirmed victory was awarded. As I often said to the troops "They're easy once you hit them with a concentrated burst"..'
