The aircraft is P-47D-40-RA, USAF serial 45-49346, ex-Brazilian Air Force FAB 4191, damaged during student riots in 1969 but was salvaged, sold back to the US in 1988 and restored to airworthy condition. Currently at the Yanks Air Museum, Chino Airport, CA, registered as N3152D .
