[stamp] and '238792.' [Censor no.] Printed caption on reverse: 'Technical Serg John R Kalb, of 2251 Montrose Ave, Chicago was an engineer with Arthur Rubloff Co. before the war. He is still doing technical work, but he is doing it in England with the US Army Air Corps. Well protected from the English winter, John is seen here checking a pressure gauge. His mother Mrs Margaret Kalb, also of Montrose Ave, and his old school friends from Lake View High School will be pleased to hear that though he enjoys his job, he is "just waiting to get home".'
