This photo was from the estate of Thomas J "Jack" Spence. I purchased the photo at a Community Garage Sale in Spicewood, Texas
Completed 25 combat missions by April 1944. Then went to Combat Staff Int. Hq; 2nd AD, Advanced nav. Training in Tx. Flew missions over France, Germany, Austria and Italy. Crash landed at HB (home base). On return from mission. Was discharged in Jan 1946 with the rank of Captain. Retired from the Reserve as a lt. Colonel in Feb. 1971.
