William Meekin
MilitaryLeading Aircraftman, 1505510. Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Age 20. Son of Joseph William and Mary Meekin, of Oldham, Lancashire, England.
He was a British Cadet in training at Riddle Field, Clewiston; died in Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, after a three day illness of Spinal Meningitis. William was an only child and had been in training about two months in USA before his fatal illness.
