Walter T Sybo

Walter Sybo was a Top Turret Gunner in the 92nd Bomb Group / 407th Bomb Squadron. Shot down 22 December 1943 on board B-17 # 42-3184. Prisoner of War (POW). After arriving back stateside, Walter married Marie Costanzo. They had one daughter 3/21/1947 Sharyn Sybo (Ashburn). Walter worked as a auto sales person and made dealership manger at McKay Cadillac in Pittsburgh. After retirement his hobbies were traveling the world, wood working, gardening and entertaining his friends and family. He would often teach his grandchildren wood working. He loves a good martini and good tobacco for his pipe. Sharyn had 2 children John and Michael Ashburn. John passed away in Oregon in 2017 from an brian aneurysm. Michael Ashburn lives in Pittsburgh, PA with his wife (Jenny)and one son.
