Guided, fed, clothed, sheltered in many places in France. Led to Paris, he was guided to Bordeaux, Dax, Anglet and over the Pyrénées mountains, reaching Gibraltar on 31 December 1943. Was flown from there to England and arrived in London on 4 January 1944. | |
