Technical Sergeant Vito J. Geroulo was born September 21, 1920. He was the son of Thomas and Pauline Geroulo, and was from Jessup, Pennsylvania.
He was serving as the Radio Operator aboard “Forget Me Not II,” B-17 tail 42-3180, of the 381st Bomb Group, 533rd Bomb Squadron, when it went down over the North Sea on October 9, 1943, returning from a mission to Anklam, Germany.
His remains were never recovered.
