Prisoner of War (POW) Crashed at Kasserolhof on 9/12/44 in B-17 #4231065. Paul F. Bailey was pilot. Liberated by the 11th Armored in April 1945. After treatment in the 387th gen. Hosp. In Paris, was returned to USA about 11 May 1945. Was sent to BGH at Brigham City, Utah where his left arm was amputated about March 1946, also where he received Certificate of Honorable Discharge on 31 May 1946.
