Ronald Albert Purrett
MilitaryLeading Aircraftman, 1318367. Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Age 25. Son of James Henry and Margaret Purrett, of Slough, Buckinghamshire, England; husband of Joan Gibson Purrett, of Slough.
The oldest and only married RAF Cadet buried in the British Plot. Killed in a plane crash at 12.55 December 14 1942. Ron was a student at Riddle Field, Clewiston and had been married for only 8 months prior to death.
