Columbus, GA 11 August 2007 Ralph Hardin Stinson April 6, 1923- October 11, 2007 Columbus, Georgia Ralph Hardin Stinson, 84, of Columbus, GA died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, October 14, 2007 at Striffler Ð Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel with Pastor Marty O. Wynn officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 15, 2007 in Parkhill Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd, Eric, Andrew, Jason, Steve, Scott and Denny. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Stinson was born April 6, 1923 in Jingo, TN the son of the late John A. and Bonnie Herbinson Stinson. He was a lifelong resident of Columbus. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Stinson retired from United Cities Gas Company as a service superintendent. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and Mt. Herman Masonic Lodge # 304. He was preceded in death by his wife, Allene Smith Stinson. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-laws; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters; three sisters-in-law; several nieces and nephews.
