Nick Yaksich
Military ROLL OF HONOURKilled in Action (KIA). Died due to intestinal illness. Initially buried 5 Sep 1944 at Cambridge, England.
In Sept. 1944 we received a telegram from the War Dept. Saying that 'Nick died of natural causes'. We have a letter from him dated 27 Aug 1944 saying he was in good health. Rumor was that he was killed by a direct hit on an anti-aircraft gun. He is listed on the Roll of Honor in England
